<p>Besides getting married, the 3 biggest moments/events at your wedding reception are your, grand entrance, first dance and the formal toasts.</p>
<p>At EMM we want you to enjoy the biggest day of your life and have your guests be involved.  That is why we have the,&#8221;big 3 events&#8221;, happen at the start of your reception.  The only time all of your guests are seated and in one place is the start of your reception.  After dinner starts the guests will move around and go to the bar, bathroom and other areas of the venue.  Depending on the venue it could be difficult to bring everyone back and have their attention focused on the formal events.</p>

<p>DJ Todd was absolutely amazing at our wedding! He made sure that everything went off without a hitch. It was a perfect day, we didn&#8217;t have to worry about a thing, Todd is a wedding PRO. He&#8217;s a perfect MC and played music that our guests loved. He was able to accommodate every age group that was at the wedding. I didn&#8217;t want to stop dancing, nor did anyone else. He knows exactly what to say, and when to say it. He also made sure that everyone was in the right place at the right time (for cake cutting, toasts, etc.) I highly, highly recommend DJ Todd for your event! <img src='http://www.djtoddevents.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>Todd was the DJ for my daughter&#8217;s wedding and he was so much more than the DJ. He kept everything going on schedule, was professional and fun. He was so easy to work with, communicate with and spend the evening with! He made it easy to choose the music and set the tone of the reception. I would recommend him to any bride and groom. In fact I already did, the day after the wedding!</p>

<p>Is there a word for &#8220;beyond perfect&#8221;? DJ Todd helped make our wedding even more amazing and truly &#8220;us&#8221; than ever imagined. My husband and I are VERY into music so selecting a DJ was not taken lightly. Todd knew and had all the songs and genres we wanted&#8211; from Hawaiian slack key to Latin jazz to our Irish recessional ditty to old school funk to good ol&#8217; Tom Waits. He has been in the biz for many years and knows OC venues and vendors like few others- and it shows. He is always smiling and in an upbeat, excitable mood, which was contagious! We could NOT have asked for a better team than DJ Todd and Essential Mobile Music. I am still smiling from ear to ear!!!</p>

<p>I came across him when we were trying to find a photographer, which was a family friend who happeded done a lot of work together. I went home and talked it over and thought ( lets just meet with him and see what we thing).. I&#8217;m so happy to say that DJ Todd was one of the only DJ&#8217;s to listen to what we were looking for! From the day we met he was very professional to the night of our wedding. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I meet with over 100 couples a year.  A common question is, &#8220;how do I dance with my step dad/mom?&#8221;.  It all depends on your relationship with each parent.  The bride or groom who has been raised by the step parent may a have a better /closer relationship than with their natural parent.  In this case you want to acknowledge both special parents and not favor one over the other.  Your Emcee should announce that you will be dancing with two special Ladies or Gentlemen.<a href="http://www.djtoddevents.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/BrieMatt-0521b.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-1312" title="Brie&amp;Matt-0521b" src="http://www.djtoddevents.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/BrieMatt-0521b-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>Here is a quote from one of my brides, &#8220;what is a really good sweet song that the stepdad and step daughter can dance to at her wedding and i dont want it to offend my real dad that&#8217;ll be there thank you&#8221;.  In this case, I would suggest having her real dad dance first to the song they selected.  Then I would do the mother song next and then the stepfathers song next.  This makes the real dad feel important and separates his special dance from your step dads.  You can choose generic songs such as , What a wonderful world, Unforgettable or something light hearted for the step father dance.  Once again it all depends on your relationship with that parent.</p>
<p>Every wedding and couple is different.  There are many dynamics thrown into a wedding day with step parents and mixed families.  A good Emcee/coordinator can help guide you through your decisions with special dance and announcements.  This is why planning is so important prior to your big day.</p>

<p>The crowd was incredible at this wedding and danced all night.  Erika was a beautiful bride.  Erika and Coco had a 7 couple grand entrance with song clips for each couple as DJ Todd introduced them into the reception.  Essential Mobile Music loves Rancho Las Lomas&#8230;it is one of the most amazing venues in Orange County.</p>

<p>DJ Todd was great to work with! He was very responsive and always available to help or ease any questions that I had. He truly has a gift&#8211; he can keep the party going and everyone up on their feet. His music selection was flawless and I didnt even have to make countless pages of do-play and do-not play lists. He sat down, got to know us and knew exactly what we wanted and didnt want. He was very open to guests putting in requests and playing a few special songs at just the right moment. The wedding went off without a hitch and I know that DJ Todd was an integral part to that! After the wedding many friends commented on what a great party it was and I have DJ Todd to thank for his special part in that.
